If you voted for Mr. Trump in 2016, I can understand. I still think you've made a wrong choice but we could talk, hash ideas, see where our disagreements lie, or even be friends.

If you voted for Mr. Trump and his cohorts in 2020, there is barely any good will to even start a conversation. Maybe I will entertain some back-and-forth online, but that would be it.

If you plan to vote for Mr. Trump and the agenda behind him in 2024...

Some disagreement is simply too vast to heal.
