I failed to see the connection explored in the article. How is Everlane’s mission of being transparent about the make-up of the product cost related to laying off people during COVID-19? Granted, many of the layoffs belonged to an effort to unionize (we can speculate some conspiracy theory there), yet I don’t think Everlane’s transparency mission, at least on paper, extends to how its internal business is running.
