I agree with your take. If Vision Pro can have a barebone (maybe $1000) version with JUST the screen itself and the ability to sync with a laptop, I'd be more than happy to replace all my monitors with it and wear the goggle for both work and entertainment.

I think Vision Pro, minus all the fancy apps, can be a good replacement of those clunky and quite expensive monitors.
